WHAT: Press briefing and tour of the Donald W. Reynolds Center for American Art and Portraiture, home of the Smithsonian American Art Museum and the National Portrait Gallery
WHEN: Thursday, March 23
9:30 a.m.—Sign in and refreshments
10 a.m.—Presentation by museum directors, followed by Q&A and tours of the renovated building

Note: The building is a construction area. Everyone must wear pants and closed flat shoes (no sandals or open-toed shoes). You will be given a hard hat and safety goggles when you enter the building. There will be steps to climb and no restrooms available. The briefing and Q&A will take 30-45 minutes. The tour will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
